Of kites and gateways

I see huge gateways ahead of me, like those you find in Putrajaya (u call them pintu gerbang), I'm entering another gateway, another level, another phase...I know He's taking me further, I wonder what will the next phase be like.

Excited, but at the same time afraid of whats coming. But assured that I'm not alone. Stepping out of my comfort zone but not without any guidance.

It's like flying a kite at the beach.
You control the strings, how much to let go and when to pull to make sure it stays flying
Same way how we make our decisions in life, we control our lives basically.
If we let go too much strings, it flies high but there's a risk that it'll get tangled up with other kites, or trees if we're not careful.
If we hold back too much strings, how can the kite possibly fly?

Best way is to let the know-it-all or Kite Guru to teach us how to fly our kites :) so it may soar high in the sky for all to see.

It is not as if we let God take the driver's seat in our lives and make decisions for us. Its like taking driving lessons but with your instructor by your side teaching you how to drive. You can choose to listen and obey, or you can choose otherwise. Very often than not if we don't listen to instructions given, we end up in an accident because we try to be smart.

None other than the God who made the universe and everything else in it, who knows our past present and future to teach us how to live life so that we may gain true satisfaction and find fulfilment in everything we do.

Proverbs 4:26 says,
"Make level paths for your feet" in other words, consider your paths "take only ways that are firm"

Sit at his feet and listen to what he has to say.....
